Remove duplicates

De-duplication is crucial when you are working with many studies in a literature review - screening the same the same study twice is simply a waste of time! So how do you do deduplication with Silvi? Well you don’t - Silvi does it for you. Let’s have a look!

Automatic de-duplication ✨

When you import studies into a project, Silvi will automatically de-duplicate the studies for you! This is all happening behind the scenes so you do not have to think about it. Too see the duplicates found you need to go to the Title-Abstract phase and click on the De-duplication button.

The study overview in the left will now show all the studies with duplicates in the project and on the right you can see what studies were duplicates of each other.

Marking duplicates yourself 👆️

If you need to mark studies as duplicates yourself this is easy! You simply select two studies in the study overview using either CTRL + Click or the Bulk button. Then you will see the studies and you can click on the Duplicates button.

Undoing a duplicate ↩️

If a study was wrongly marked as a duplicate you can undo this from the duplicate view. Simply click on the This is not a duplicate button.
