DTU selects Silvi as prefered tool for Literature Reviews
Jul 22, 2025

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU; The Technical University of Denmark) has selected Silvi as its official platform to provide their researchers with an AI-powered tool to optimize the literature review process. Researchers at DTU can now use Silvi simply by signing up with their university email addresses.
While the practice of reviewing literature systematically originates from life sciences, Silvi has always endeavored to provide an AI-powered tool that can be used across scientific disciplines. That a technical institution like DTU has chosen Silvi shows that Silvi has achieved its goal of becoming a platform for researchers working in many different scientific fields.
“DTU is a leading technical university not just in Denmark but also in Europe and the fact that they have chosen Silvi as their platform for literature reviews shows that we are on the right track when it comes to using AI for academic purposes,” Tove Holm-Larsen, the CEO of Silvi said. “It also inspires us to continue serving our colleagues in academia and we look forward to working with universities both in Denmark and abroad,” she said.
In collaboration with the DTU library, Silvi is conducting several webinars and training sessions for both students and faculty. Rasmus Hvingelby, who works as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Silvi, is a DTU alumni and is currently looking forward to critical feedback from his former colleagues at DTU.
