1. Personal Data and GDPR Compliance

When you create an account with Silvi®, you consent to us storing your first and last name and email address. We store this data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

You also consent to us collecting usage data based on your interaction with Silvi®. This includes how you use and experience the platform. We use this data for the following purposes:

To maintain, protect, and troubleshoot Silvi®, and to provide customer support

To improve and develop new features
To generate anonymized statistics about user behavior

We do not sell this data to third parties. We also do not collect or use content from non-public full-text articles you upload to Silvi®.

2. Payments and Subscriptions

By purchasing a Silvi® subscription (monthly or annually), you authorize recurring payments until the subscription is canceled by you or by us. You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Silvi uses Stripe as third-party payment processor, to handle transactions securely. By subscribing, you agree to their terms and privacy policies. Your credit card information is processed in accordance with GDPR standards and is not stored by Silvi®.

3. Account Deletion and Data Retention

If you choose to delete your account, we will retain your account data for 3 months. This allows you to easily reactivate your account during that period. After 3 months, all associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems, unless legally required to retain it.

4. Limitation of Liability

Silvi is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to ensure reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be free from errors. Silvi is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided by Silvi®, including its design, features, and underlying code, are the intellectual property of Silvi ApS and may not be reproduced, copied, or redistributed without permission.
