Silvi will give a demo on how to accelerate Systematic Literature Reviews in educational research at the 2025 EARLI conference
About the event
Silvi will be attending the EARLI 2025 Conference in Graz, Austria to demonstrate how Silvi can be used for accelerating Systematic Literature Reviews in the educational research field.
Silvi is designed to accelerate the most time-consuming phases of systematic reviews—from literature screening to data extraction—while preserving the rigor essential to academic research. Unlike fully autonomous AI tools, Silvi embraces a Human-in-the-Loop approach, combining AI efficiency with researchers’ expertise to minimize risks such as hallucinations, bias, and lack of transparency.
The demonstration will guide participants through Silvi’s core functions:
Search: Transparent and reproducible import of studies from databases such as ERIC and PubMed.
Screening: AI-assisted article inclusion/exclusion.
Extraction: Transparent data extraction and flexible coding, ensuring traceability.
Synthesis: Visual overviews and outputs for meta-analysis and evidence-based insights.
Using an ongoing review about Curriculum Integration as an example, attendees will experience first-hand how Silvi supports researchers in conducting efficient, reliable, and transparent literature reviews.
The demonstration will be part of session H12 on Tuesday 26th of August at 16:00.
