How to Use Filters in Silvi to Speed Up Your Screening Process
Silvi offers several filters to help you streamline your screening process for your systematic reviews. By using these filters, you can significantly reduce the time spent on screening studies while maintaining full control over your decisions.

Here's an overview of filters in Silvi:
1. In the top-right corner of the left column, you will three buttons.
The left most button is for filters.
Click on it and you will be shown three different classes of filters: Decisions, Your Work, and Suggestions.
Under "Decisions," you will see four filters: Included, Excluded, Conflict, and Not Screened.
The "Include" and "Exclude" filters here will show you decisions taken by anyone in your project.
For example, if you click on "Included," it will show you all the studies that have been included by anyone in your project.
Similar is the case with the "Exclude" filter. If you select this filter, it will give you a drop down menu with all the different exclusion criteria you have specified.
You can filter studies by a single exclusion criterion, multiple criteria, or all exclusion criteria.
If you and your colleagues have a conflict about including or excluding certain studies, you can see all of them by clicking on the "Conflict" filter.
And you can see all the studies that have not been screened yet by selecting the "Not screened" filter.
2. Under the Decision filters, you will see filters related specifically to your work.
If you click on "Included by me," it will show only the studies that you have included. Similar, is the case with the other three filters: Excluded by me, Not screened by me, and Assigned to me.
These filters will help you keep your own work organized and streamlined.
3. The third class of filters is "Suggestions."
These are AI suggestions and will only appear once you have screened all the studies in your projects by AI.
Once you have initiated AI screening, select the "Include" filter and it will show you the studies that the AI recommends to include.
Please note that you will only see these AI suggestions if you are a project owner. If you are not a project owner, you will not see these AI suggestions.
You can select multiple studies by pressing Shift + Down Arrow key or Ctrl + mouse click and their abstracts will show up.
This way, you can quickly read through abstracts and screen them.
4. If you select the "Excluded" filter under suggestions, it will give you a drop down menu with all the different exclusion criteria you have already specified.
You can select a specific criterion, and Silvi will show you a list of studies that the AI recommends to exclude based on that criterion.
Once again, you can select multiple studies by pressing Shift + Down Arrow key or Ctrl + mouse click and their abstracts will show up.
If you select, say, ten studies and would like to exclude them all based on AI suggestions, you can click on the "Use AI decisions" and it will exclude them all.
If you want to exclude the selected studies, but you don't agree with AI's suggested exclusion criterion, you can click on the red "Exclude all" button and specify/select your own exclusion criterion.
