Technical University of Denmark chooses Silvi as literature review platform
Jan 7, 2025

The Technical University of Denmark (DTU; Danmarks Tekniske Universitet) has selected Silvi as its official platform for literature reviews, giving researchers access to AI-powered tools that make it faster and easier to navigate the ever-growing body of scientific literature.
Systematic literature reviews have long been essential in medicine, where synthesizing results is critical for evidence-based practice. But with the exponential growth of scientific output across many scientific disciplines, the need for fast and transparent review methods has spread far beyond healthcare. DTU is also experiencing this challenge, with more and more of their researchers seeking better ways to manage the growing scientific literature. Therefore DTU has chosen Silvi for its ability to combine rigorous scientific methodology with AI-driven speed—without compromising researchers’ autonomy or transparency.
"DTU’s decision to adopt Silvi confirms the platform’s strength and usability for researchers across diverse scientific disciplines." says Tove Holm-Larsen, CEO. "This also inspires us to further our mission of bringing evidence-based methods, through Silvi, into an even wider range of scientific disciplines" she continues.
While Silvi already has ties to DTU, as CTO and Co-Founder Rasmus Hvingelby is a DTU alumnus, this partnership will further strengthen those ties. As part of the collaboration, several webinars and training sessions will be offered to students and faculty throughout 2025, and feedback from DTU researchers will help Silvi continue developing the platform into an even better product.
