Import Studies from Web of Science
You can import studies from Web of Science in Silvi by generating a RIS file from your search.
Create a RIS file
You need to create a RIS file from your search in Web of Science to import the studies into Silvi. This RIS file contains all the resulting studies from your search.
Go to Web of Science and run a search. Filter results.
Click on Export, select RIS, then Records from. It lets you export up to 1,000 records in one go.
Click on Export and it will download an RIS file on your computer.
To download the next 1,000 records, go back to Web of Search.
Click on Export and select RIS.
Enter the record numbers 1,001 to 2000, and click on Export.
This will download the next 1,000 records as an RIS file to your computer.
Importing a RIS file
When you have created RIS files from your Web of Science search you can import them into Silvi.
Open an existing project or create a new one.
Click on "Import studies" and then choose "Your own files."
Select the file on your browser finish the import
